Dr. Wendy Santizo, O.D.
Dr. Santizo received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1985 from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She practiced several years at the UCSB Eye Clinic, the Sansum Clinic, and at her current location before devoting her full attention to Optometry Care in the mid 1990's. Her interests include nutrition and preventative health, and she always discusses these issues with each patient as part of a comprehensive eye exam.
In her spare time, Dr. Santizo enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two children, and her grandson.
Dr. Stephanie Burris, O.D.
Dr. Burris received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997 from the Southern California College of Optometry and her Bachelors degree from U.C. Santa Barbara in 1993. Before joining Optometry Care Santa Barbara in 1999, Dr. Burris worked with LASIK surgeons in L.A. Currently she enjoys educating her patients about all aspects of their vision and eye health as part of a comprehensive eye exam. They often say "That was the best eye exam I ever had!" and come back year after year.
